Message	1 week much more leaving ANY car with a mechanic for 4 weeks until he can get to it. At that point I would have said see you in 4 weeks, if at all. That guy saw you coming from a mile away and gave it to you without the oil. Live and learn. I don't want to beat you up any more than he did but I wonder about your judgement calls. First, this guy rips you, then you don't want to pursue him, then you get on the forum and tell us what happened and wussy out by stating your only telling us about your experience and don't want to flame this idiot. Come on dude, grow a set already! I would not let this guy get away with this. Get a lawyer to write a letter about the paint, and engine damage threatening legal action unless he ponies up some cash. That would be worth the effort.
